How to Order - Personalise
Shopping with Ape Retail is easy, we have designed the shopping website with customers in mind, providing the items to you easily and without all the noise, no pop ups, no logon, no surveys. Just peaceful shopping in your own time.
Please follow the steps below and your new things will arrive in good time with our free delivery. However, if prefer to talk to us, that is fine, you can call our friendly customer services team on 01359 244145, and you can also place your order over the phone.
Find the items you need, buy with confidence
To find an item you are looking for, you can select the department where it is most likely to be at the top, Shop by Department, Departments, link or type the name or item details of what you are looking for into the search box at the top of most pages and click SEARCH IMAGE ' the small magnify glass next to or below the search box'. We will do our best to match your search to the items we have and provide you with a list of suitable products, you can then go to the items you want or narrow your search even further by adding more or less search text.
We have designed the search based on customer usage and feedback, no more endless clicking.
Personalised option on some items
If the item you have found allows for Personalised details to be added, this will be very clear on the page under the item details.
There are a number of text boxes and or drop down options for you to fill in the details you want, the size - amount of text we can add will be next to a text box, the size includes text, numbers, spaces and symbols.

All text must be standard English language letters, numbers and any standard symbol. Sorry we can not use any accents on letters, if these are added and not spotted they may just come without the accents as the standard English letter.
Please do not use bad-language as this is not allowed on many of the licenced items and your order will fail and have to be changed or refunded.
Once your order is with us, we may contact you if we feel the details are incorrect or there is a spelling that looks wrong, we will contact you for advice, so you know you are giving the gift as it should be given.
Sending Personalised Details After Ordering
This is fine, you can order the goods and in the personalised details screen just click the details to follow button, you can then email or phone with the details once you have them. We will contact you on the next working day if we don't receive the details.
Do not worry, we will not send an item out without you providing the details to us.
Adding the items to your shopping cart
When you are on the product page and want to add this item to your cart, click the ' Add to Cart ' or ' Add ' button. This will take you to your Shopping Basket which shows all the items that you have chosen to add. You can increase or decrease the quantity and change some other options at this time, simply change drop down boxes and click 'update'.
To keep looking for more items, click the ' continue shopping ' button.
Review your shopping cart
To access your Shopping Cart, please click the link on the top right hand side of your screen called, ' Shopping Cart ' or ' Cart '. Here you can review the items you have added and remove items if you do not want to order now. Please check you have selected the correct quantities and added the personalised details ( above ) if applicable, at this stage. Then click ' SECURE CHECKOUT ' to proceed or the ' continue shopping ' button to keep shopping.
There is NO minimum order value on our shopping site, and NO delivery costs at all for mainland UK orders.
To enter a promotional code
We may offer promotional discounts on some or all products. If you have a promotional code, you can enter it at the checkout. Click the ' promotional code ' button and enter your code. The promotional code is case sensitive and must be entered directly as shown. Please note, terms and conditions apply to all of our promotions, all promotions are subject to availability and promotional codes can no longer be use after they have expired.
Continue to checkout
When you are happy with the items, click ' SECURE CHECKOUT '. This will take you to our secure Checkout process.
If this is your first time shopping with Ape Retail, you may ask why we do not ask you to set up an account, this is because, we do not want to store your details, we want you to be safe and secure knowing your details are not held by us for any time longer the sales, delivery and returns process.
You will be prompted to provide a delivery destination - including name, address, phone and email,
We do not provide any invoice or payment details with the delivery so sending as gifts is just fine.
Select a delivery option
As all UK mainland delivery is free , we will send it by standard postage, which in many cases is 1st or courier depending on the item, you can upgrade the delivery using our special delivery option.
Choose a payment option
You can use your credit or debit card details, pay via PayPal or pay over the phone. We accept all major credit and debit cards, MasterCard, Visa, Maestro, AMEX and Diners Card.
You may be asked to enter a billing address if it is different from the delivery address, this is NOT passed to us to be stored. This must be the address where your payment card is registered.
Review and confirm your order
When you have provided all the details you will be presented with a summary of your order, including the price, delivery and addresses you have selected. Please double check all the details, then click the ' CONFIRM ORDER ' button. We will not charge your credit/debit card until you have confirmed your order.
